A field study conducted in Timergara, Pakistan, evaluated the effects of biofertilizers (PSB, Azotobacter, and their combination) and zinc sulphate (20, 25, and 30 kg/ha) on wheat (Triticum aestivum) growth and yield. The sandy loam soil had neutral pH and low organic carbon. The combined treatment of PSB, Azotobacter, and 30 kg/ha zinc sulphate significantly improved growth metrics and yield, including plant height, dry weight, grain yield (6.5 t/ha), and harvest index. This synergy enhances nutrient uptake and physiological functions, confirming that integrated use of biofertilizers and zinc sulphate is an effective, sustainable approach to boost wheat productivity.
